The relaxed atmosphere you find is what made out time at Disney's Beach Club Resort so great.

Disney’s Beach Club Resort Review

Disney’s Beach Club Resort opened in 1990 as one of the original four Disney World Epcot area resorts. The design of the Beach Club was inspired by then Disney CEO Michael Eisner’s childhood visits to various Northeast beach towns. Here in our Disney’s Beach Club Resort review, we’ll cover our thoughts on the theming of the resort, room types, pricing, amenities, dining, and more. As usual, this review will feature plenty of photos of the resort.

Disney’s Beach Club Resort is a deluxe level Disney World resort that sits on Crescent Lake. It has a sister resort known as Disney’s Yacht Club Resort. Many people actually consider them one resort, but they are technically two. Beach Club is the fun-loving and chill sister in the resort relationship, while Yacht Club is the more formal resort of the two. Being right next to each other comes with benefits, like the dining options of Yacht Club give Beach Club more options than your typical Disney World resort. They also share more amenities, but we’ll cover that later in our Beach Club Resort review.

Minnie’s Beach Bash Breakfast at Cape May Café Features Minnie and Friends and is a buffet style dining experience.

Cape May Café Character Breakfast Review

Cape May Café is located just off the lobby of Disney’s Beach Club Resort. This restaurant serves only breakfast and dinner, but both meals have unique elements not found in other restaurants around the World. Minnie’s Beach Bash Breakfast takes place in the mornings with Minnie, Daisy, Donald, and Goofy dressed in vintage beach attire. In the evenings, a special “seafood and more” buffet is offered. Here in our Cape May Café character breakfast review, we’ll cover the décor of the restaurant, the character we met, and the food. We’ll pepper in pictures throughout, as usual.

Sleepy Hollow Review

Tucked inside of Liberty Square at Disney World’s Magic Kingdom is a quaint, but not a quiet quick service location known as Sleepy Hollow. Located just over the bridge to the left of Cinderella Castle, this “refreshment” stand sees lots of foot traffic. Here in our Sleepy Hollow review, we’ll give you our thoughts on the food and a little background on this Disney World restaurant.

Yachtsman Steakhouse Review

If you’re looking for a more elegant and refined dinner away from the Disney World parks, you may think about eating at Yachtsman Steakhouse. The steakhouse is located at Disney’s Yacht Club Resort, which also adjoins Disney’s Beach Club Resort. Here in our Yachtsman Steakhouse review, we’ll tell you our thoughts on dining at this Disney World signature restaurant, covering the food and atmosphere of the restaurant.

Since Yachtsman Steakhouse is a signature location at Disney World, it does cost a bit more than your average table service meal. That’s true whether you are paying with cash or using the Disney Dining Plan. You’ll have to cough up two table service credits to eat here.

As we'll cover here in our Olivia’s Café review, breakfast and dinner are both great meals to have. But on top of the meals, the restaurant is fun and homey!

Olivia’s Café Review

Olivia’s Café is the only table service restaurant at Old Key West. Due to the nature of the resort having rooms with full kitchens or kitchenettes, the lack of options is not surprising. As we’ll cover more here in our Olivia’s Café review, this restaurant is more than worthy of being the only choice for sit-down family dining. It is open for all three meals with different menus for each meal. We were able to enjoy both breakfast and dinner at our recent stay.

Beach Club Marketplace food isn't going to wow you, but it will at least fill you up.

Beach Club Marketplace Review

Tucked away inside of Disney’s Beach Club Resort is a quick service option known as the Beach Club Marketplace. This Disney World restaurant serves all three meals of the day and provides snacks for late-night dining options. Here in our Beach Club Marketplace review, we’ll provide our thoughts on this dining location, covering the lunch we had here. We’ll throw in some thoughts on the other meals you can have here too.

Mickey greets guests while working the BBQ pit at the Epcot Food & Wine Festival.

2019 Epcot Food and Wine Festival Gluten Free Food Review

As we discuss in our “About Us” page, I have developed a gluten sensitivity, probably due to my chronic health issues. As a result, I eat entirely gluten free. Disney World Dining handles food allergies and sensitivities amazingly well for how many people they are feeding every day. Here in our Epcot Food and Wine Festival Gluten Free Food review, we’ll give you our thoughts on all the gluten free dishes we ate at the festival.

For the Food and Wine Festival, certain food items are designated as “gluten friendly.” Unfortunately, they do not assign any other classifications like nuts or dairy, but each booth has a binder that you can consult that lists all of the ingredients.

Guide to Halloween Snacks and Desserts at Magic Kingdom

When Halloween approaches at Magic Kingdom, you can rest assured of two things. That would be the start of Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party and some fun Halloween snacks and desserts. I’d say that you can also count on increased prices from the prior years, but that would be a bit of a bummer view on things…oops. Here in our guide to Halloween Snacks and Desserts at Magic Kingdom, we’ll cover all the different Halloween treats you will find.

Here in our Cruella's Halloween Hide-A-Way Party Review we'll tell you all about this experience.

Cruella’s Halloween Hide-A-Way Party Review

Each night, during Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party, Disney World offers an additional up charge event known as Cruella’s Halloween Hide-A-Way Party. During our recent trip to Disney World, we decided to stop by the event and check it out. Or should I say, I decided to stop by. Carla and I did not bring Anna and Elsa for reasons we’ll discuss as we go through our Cruella’s Halloween Hide-A-Way Party review.

The Chocolate Studio is one of our favorite booths of the Epcot Food & Wine Festival.

The Chocolate Studio Review – 2019 Epcot Food & Wine Festival

The Chocolate Studio returns for another year of serving decadent chocolate delights at the 2019 Epcot Food and Wine Festival. This booth is located in the “Culinary Corridor” in Future World West along the walkway into World Showcase. This is a high traffic area with a few great booths nearby. They include The Cheese Studio and the Wine and Dine Studio. Hawaii is not far away either. There are several high-top tables set up in the garden area between the booths. This is a picturesque area that we really enjoy during the Festival.
