Epcot FastPass Guide

The Epcot FastPass system is a good bit more complicated than what we talked about for the Magic Kingdom FastPass. Unlike Magic Kingdom, Epcot uses tiers in their FastPass system, so not every ride is available for a FastPass reservation. At least a reservation in advance. Here in our Epcot FastPass guide, we’ll break down this system, showing you how it works, what rides you need a FastPass for and more!

Disney’s Wilderness Lodge Review

Disney’s Wilderness Lodge is one of 10 deluxe resorts within Walt Disney World. However, it is one of only four deluxe resorts located in the Magic Kingdom area. In this post, we will give you our review of Disney’s Wilderness Lodge. This will include an overall resort review, while also hitting the highlights of the room options, pricing, dining, pools, amenities, and more. As usual, we’ll also try to load it up with pictures.

Satu’li Canteen Review

When Pandora – The World of Avatar opened in 2017, Animal Kingdom received a lot of attention for the two new signature attractions that came with it. However, one overlooked aspect of the land that doesn’t get enough focus is the dining that came with it. The new dining came in the form of Satu’li Canteen, a counter service restaurant. Here in our Satu’li Canteen review, we’ll discuss the theme, atmosphere, food and anything else we think might be relevant (and sometimes not).

Best of the Disney World Internet – December 2018

Welcome to the next installment of a monthly series we post. This is a bit of a recap post. We spend a lot of time reading and watching videos about Disney World to stay up on the latest news and trends. And maybe, just because there’s some fun in it for us! We call this series, the “Best of the Disney World Internet” and this is our December 2018 recap.

Wilderness Lodge at Christmas

When you head to Walt Disney World at Christmas time, one thing you may be looking for is a resort that brings the holiday spirit to you when away from home. What Christmas is or isn’t to people is probably as more a function of where you live (or grew up) and what your family traditions are, and less so where you happen to be for the holiday. So finding the right resort to make you feel at home while spending Christmas at Disney World is a must. We recently stayed at Wilderness Lodge at Christmas and wanted to share our views of the Christmas experience there.

The stage of the Disney Junior Dance Party at Disney World.

Disney Junior Dance Party Review

Yesterday, Disney’s Hollywood Studios debuted their new show geared toward younger kids, called the Disney Junior Dance Party. We just happened to be in Hollywood Studios, so we made a point to swing by and check out the show.
In case you weren’t aware, Disney World had a long running show called Disney Junior – Live On Stage! Disney announced that the show was closing in late 2018, however it would be replaced by a new show.
Many of us who had kids that were a perfect demographic for the stage show were sad to hear of its closing. Since they were born, we’ve tried to take Anna and Elsa to the show each time we’ve been to Disney World. Now the girls are starting to age out of the target audience here, so it isn’t the end of the world.

Woody’s Lunch Box Review

With the opening of Toy Story Land at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, all Disney fans were interested to see what dining options would come with the new land. Some of that curiosity was due to this being a new area within the park. However, if we’re being honest, some of the curiosity was because the food situation in Hollywood Studios is pretty weak, especially on the counter service side. Woody’s Lunch Box was announced as the new counter service offering located in Toy Story Land, serving breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Morimoto Asia Review

When Disney announced that Iron Chef Masaharu Morimoto would be bringing a Signature restaurant to Disney Springs, there was certainly a great deal of buzz about this news. Now, Chef Morimoto is hardly the first celebrity chef to bring a restaurant to Disney World. You could look at the likes of Wolfgang Puck, but we’d also suggest you go back to the opening of Chefs de France in 1982 to find some “OG” celebrity chefs opening a Disney restaurant. However, with celebrity chefs going mainstream nowadays, 2015 is very different from the early 1980’s.
