This evening Disney World finally gave us some answers to what will be happening with their fall seasonal event line up. The announcement was made via a post on Disney Parks Blog. Specifically, the Epcot Food and Wine Festival and Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party. As you can read in the title to this post, Disney World has decided to cancel Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party. The Epcot Food and Wine Festival will go on but in a modified format. We’ll talk a little about each of these items below.
Frontierland represents a step back to the old west. It’s a wild place where bank robbers, runaway trains, and every lawless person in the country roams. Here in our Guide to Frontierland at Disney World’s Magic Kingdom, we’ll review the good, the bad, and the ugly of this great western themed land. The guide covers the various attractions, food, shops, and more that you can find.
I hope you enjoyed our Barenaked Ladies reference in the title. I think that song has lyrics that, in some way, reference the relationship of Disney World and its guests. Mostly the opening stanza. If you aren’t familiar with it, the song starts like this:
It’s been one week since you looked at me
Cocked your head to the side
and said I’m angry
Five days since you laughed at me saying
Get that together come back and see me
Maybe I’m reading too much into it. I do find it similar, though. I think Disney World fans are feeling a wide array of emotions about the park reopening now. Laughing and angry may be just two of them, but it probably covers the range of emotions.
