After you take a spin on Expedition Everest, you may be interested in grabbing a bite to eat, or maybe you’ll need a drink! Or perhaps you are soaked after getting off of Kali River Rapids, and you want to sit a minute and dry off? You can accomplish either of these if you grab a bite at Yak and Yeti Local Food Cafés while touring Disney’s Animal Kingdom. It’s situated right next to the entrance of Kali River Rapids in the Asia section of the park. Flame Tree Barbecue is a counter service location at Disney’s Animal Kingdom that serves up various barbecue dishes for lunch and dinner. The meat on most entrées will be smoked, rather than grilled. You’ll find the restaurant located in the Discovery Island area of Animal Kingdom. Here in our Flame Tree Barbecue review, we’ll cover our dining experience. Restaurantosaurus is a counter service location at Disney’s Animal Kingdom that features some fairly standard American fare for lunch and dinner. You’ll find it located within the DinoLand U.S.A area of Animal Kingdom. Here in our Restaurantosaurus review we’ll cover our dining experience from a recent trip. One of the great aspects of dining at Disney World is the ability to eat foods and experience flavors that you wouldn’t normally find where you live and eat day to day. I’m not sure about you, but we certainly get into food ruts in our daily lives and find Disney to be a place where we can branch out.
