Here in our Cruella's Halloween Hide-A-Way Party Review we'll tell you all about this experience.

Cruella’s Halloween Hide-A-Way Party Review

Each night, during Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party, Disney World offers an additional up charge event known as Cruella’s Halloween Hide-A-Way Party. During our recent trip to Disney World, we decided to stop by the event and check it out. Or should I say, I decided to stop by. Carla and I did not bring Anna and Elsa for reasons we’ll discuss as we go through our Cruella’s Halloween Hide-A-Way Party review.

The Chocolate Studio is one of our favorite booths of the Epcot Food & Wine Festival.

The Chocolate Studio Review – 2019 Epcot Food & Wine Festival

The Chocolate Studio returns for another year of serving decadent chocolate delights at the 2019 Epcot Food and Wine Festival. This booth is located in the “Culinary Corridor” in Future World West along the walkway into World Showcase. This is a high traffic area with a few great booths nearby. They include The Cheese Studio and the Wine and Dine Studio. Hawaii is not far away either. There are several high-top tables set up in the garden area between the booths. This is a picturesque area that we really enjoy during the Festival.

Mexico Review – 2019 Epcot Food & Wine Festival

Given my family’s overall love for Mexican food, you can rest assured we were going to stop by the Mexico booth at the 2019 Epcot Food & Wine Festival. Tacos, enchiladas, mole, margaritas? Yes, sign us up, please! The Mexico booth had plenty that we wanted to try.

As we stop by the Mexico booth, we noticed one unique thing about the menu. That would be that the menu is entirely new this year. Not a single entrée from last year returns. I think Carla was particularly disappointed that the Coconut Rice Pudding did not. You can see the full Mexico booth menu below.

As part of our Spain review from the 2019 Epcot Food & Wine Festival, we sampled all three dishes.

Spain Review – 2019 Epcot Food & Wine Festival

Inspired by our complete enjoyment of our meal at Jaleo, we decided to try all of the food offerings at the Spain global marketplace at the Food & Wine Festival. Spain is one of the relatively new booths at the festival, making its debut in 2017.

The Spain booth features two returning items and some modifications to the paella from last year. While we weren’t necessarily overwhelmed with excitement at the offerings, we were intrigued to try them. By the time we got to this booth I was pretty hungry and on the hunt for some gluten free items, which Spain does feature.

Here in our Shimmering Sips review, we'll cover the desserts available at this booth and one of the mimosas.

Shimmering Sips Review – 2019 Epcot Food & Wine Festival

Shimmering Sips is a booth located near the entrance to World Showcase, across from the Port of Entry store in World Showcase Plaza. This booth seems to be an amalgam of items from prior festivals. With the closure of the festival center in the old Wonders of Life Pavilion (this year’s festival center is the in World ShowPlace events pavilion located between the Canada and UK pavilions), the mimosa bar that was located there last year has become the foundation of this booth. Also offered are three desserts. The Banana Almond Soft-Serve Sundae from last year’s Almond Orchard booth is one of the desserts offered here. We’ll cover several of these items here in our Shimmering Sips Review.

The Alps Review – 2019 Epcot Food & Wine Festival

As we keep working our way through the booths we ate at during the 2019 Epcot Food & Wine Festival, we now get to the other new food booth this year, The Alps! When I heard the booth’s name, I immediate thought of Swiss-inspired food, and that is precisely what we get here. As the Disney World website says and the name implies, this booth invites you to “Explore the delicious tastes of these Swiss-inspired dishes!”
